Our food pantry first opened in July 2006 and enabled us to provide food on an emergency basis to anyone in need. Within a couple of months, we began distributing food to the community, often feeding people from all areas of Fresno, Selma, Sanger, and Parlier.
In Matthew 15, Christ’s disciples wondered aloud, "Where could we get enough bread in this remote place to feed such a crowd?" Just as the Lord blessed what little food was present, He has continued to bless our pantry by blessing and increasing what we have. When we wrote a grant last year, we proposed that we would “someday” feed over three hundred people each month. |
